The piers were tough digging! The building code said they had to be 42 inches deep! Dad dug them
by hand. After the concrete was poured and hardened in the piers, we constructed the header
board. Then Dad pulled all the metal off the top of the barn and extended the roof by 2 feet. The
first half was just a little too small.
