The original half of the barn was completed in 2001. When we built the barn, we had decided we would be in rabbits for a long time. As real rabbit breeders, we couldn't just have rabbits packed in the basement or on the basement patio. The rabbits needed a real home. So, we scraped up enough money to build half of such a building. There it is below! The brown spot was once a huge old bed of rock that we moved to our driveway. The pile of gravel to the left is now the floor of the new barn.
