We, the Misseys, are a family of four, Jim and Diane, and the kids Ryan and Ty. We joined rabbits through 4-H, and started showing as youth in the ARBA. Jim entered the open show circuit with Ryan and Ty's "culls" and won an open BEST IN SHOW with them! Ryan and him now show some New Zealands and the Mini Rex and Holland Lops in open. Jim is a concrete finisher for money and a bunny farmer for fun. He was also a baseball coach for Ty's baseball team. He built the sprawling M-n-M estate by hand and enjoys rabbits as much as the kids. Jim showed his first rabbits in 2004 but had experience with rabbit farming as a kid. He has been known to crawl around on the kitchen floor with bunnies. Diane works as M-n-M's secretary, manager, and veterinarian. She is a dedicated 4-H volunteer and retired leader. Diane keeps the paperwork straight and makes sure the tight M-n-M breeding and show schedule is carried out properly. She also takes care of the sick and baby rabbits. Ryan is webmaster of M-n-M's web site. He has a passion for rabbits and photography and loves to take pictures of the M-n-M Rabbits. There are thousands of rabbit pictures on our computer, and more appear daily. He manages our cage building and acquisition of new supplies (spends our money). Ryan had a winning market pen at the Missouri State Fair for three years. Ty helps out in the barn and shows the rabbits with Ryan. He is in charge of all the 4-H and youth showing now. His main interest is baseball though. He gets mad when we always talk about rabbits in our own strange lingo at suppertime. He would much rather talk about the St. Louis Cardinals or one of his X-Box games. Ty had the winning market pen at the Missouri State Fair last year and is becoming a goat farmer with some of his winnings.
